Applications, Deposits and Prices
Applications will be considered confirmed upon
receipt of a deposit of $500 per participant. The balance
of the price is due no later than 60 days before
your workshop begins. If your balance is not paid by that date,
your place may be cancelled. If you submit
your application
less than 60 days before your trip begins, it must be
accompanied
by full payment.
Once we receive your deposit, we will send a confirmation
and detailed background information for your trip.
Cancellations, Refunds, and Waiver
All cancellations must be made in writing.
If we receive
your cancellation more than 60 days before your workshop,
we will refund in full any payments made over and above
your original $500 deposit, which will be retained as a
cancellation fee.
For cancellations received between 60 and 31 days prior to a workshop,
we will refund 50% of all payments over and above the $500
cancellation fee.
There will be no refunds for cancellations received 30 days or less
before your workshop.
We recommend
that all participants obtain trip cancellation and
travel insurance.
Cocinar Mexicano reserves the right to cancel any of our
programs with a full refund to accepted participants in case of
insufficient registration or for reasons of force majeure.
Participants understand and agree that Cocinar Mexicano shall not be liable,
directly or indirectly, for any delay, inconvenience,
accident, injury, death, loss, or damage to person or
property for any participant in our workshops. Nor do we
assume any responsibility for losses or expenses due
to war, threat of war, terrorism, act of government,
labor dispute, civil unrest, sickness, theft, fire, adverse
weather conditions, airline or other travel operations,
or any other cause beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify
the workshop schedule without prior notification as may become
necessary. In such an event we pledge to substitute services
of equal quality to those planned.
It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain
and carry a valid passport, visa(s), and any other travel
documents required by applicable government regulations.
You are responsible for complying with the rules and laws of the places you visit and the rights and privacy
of fellow participants and program staff.
